Vinuki Medagama the Head Girl of Asian International School (2021/2022) has secured a full academic scholarship awarded by the London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE).
Vinuki obtained outstanding Advance Level results (3 A-stars) and Edexcel High Achiever Award from Pearson Edexcel. She also received an A-star for Psychology which she sat for through the Cambridge Examination Board. She also received 100/100 for two out of the four units in History. Vinuki combined her academics with a plethora of co-curricular activities. She engaged in many areas of community service and contributed to a newspaper column as well.
The London School of Economics & Political Science picks only the most outstanding students in awarding such scholarships. Vinuki has brought honour to Sri Lanka in being awarded this prestigious scholarship. She hopes to follow a course in Politics and International Relations at LSE and has already proceeded to the UK.
