General Information

Job vacancies are available from time to time in all subjects, including in the Elementary and Junior sections. Asian International School welcomes applications from prospective teachers throughout the school year. All Senior School teachers must have a degree while Junior and Elementary School teachers should have either a degree or a Montessori qualification. Formal teaching qualifications are an advantage but not essential, as there is an on going Professional Teacher Development Programme at the school. Applicants are expected to have experience teaching or working with children, in particular within the British system. Applicants are also expected to be fluent in English.

We welcome applications from expatriates. Salaries are paid in Sri Lankan Rupees on a similar scale to Sri Lankan teachers. Unfortunately we are unable to provide packages to cover the expenses of spouses or children.
