We are thrilled to celebrate the outstanding achievement of Rayyan Lafir, who won first place at the All Island Schools’ National Startup Innovation Competition, organized by S. Thomas’ College in partnership with Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW).

Rayyan designed an innovative walking stick for visually impaired individuals, crafted from PVC pipe and equipped with a sensor-based obstacle detection system. The walking stick provides dual feedback through sound and vibration alerts, offering greater safety and independence to its users.

This remarkable accomplishment showcases Rayyan’s creativity, technical skill, and dedication to social innovation. We at AIS are immensely proud of his success and extend our heartfelt congratulations on this inspiring achievement.
