Social Responsibilities
At AIS, we believe in sustaining our environment and supporting the wider community in order to foster harmony with nature and society.
The entire school campus is a polythene-free zone. The tuck shop is only permitted to use paper bags, paper plates and paper cups.
The school has collaborated with Eco Spindles Ltd. to collect and gather PET bottles and recyclable cartons brought from home to channel such waste for reuse.
The students are inculcated with simple habits of non-littering by encouraging responsible disposal of trash.
Students get involved in community service from Year 4 upwards. Every class undertakes community service projects which enable the whole class to reach out to society.
The Community Service Club drives the community service initiative by organizing and enabling meaningful and sustainable social service projects aimed at uplifting the lives of less privileged communities, as well as making our students more sensitive to the needs of others, more socially aware, and more responsible.
